Published Posts
I achieved my goal of publishing 6 posts for the month of August. It has been easy these first two months because I am primarily posting income reports. My first blog was launched January 2021 and along the way, I was creating income and traffic reports. In those reports, I tracked my numbers, strategies, and even my feelings about the month. I had all the reports from the first half of the year to report.
Moving forward 2 out of the 6 posts I publish will be income reports. One Income and traffic report for Mom Wife and Everyday Life and one report for Blogging with Amanda.
Income reports are easy, yet difficult to publish. The content itself is easy because it is provided by my analytics. Putting the report together can take time though because I have to bounce around to gather all of the numbers.
Users/Pageviews
I am not promoting my blog anywhere and it hasn’t had time to age in Google so I am happy with any users and pageviews I acquire. It is all dumb luck at this point.
I did not get around to removing myself from the analytics so some of the pageviews are definitely from me.
Income & Expenses
I have not started monetizing my blog yet. My first step will be placing affiliate links for Bluehost, but I am waiting to get to that.
I had no expenses which of course is great.
Goals
I am going to set very loose goals for this blog. My first blog is still my priority. Some goals to achieve in September or October include.
-Set up a Canva account
-Start to create pins
-Set up a Pinterest account
-Work on board creations and optimization
Strategy/Changes
As much as I want to start working on Pinterest and promoting my content my strategy is to stick with simply publishing content at this time.
I need to start interlinking my articles.
I was waiting until I got my first 10 or so articles. At this point, I am at 10 published articles.
Interlinking should be helpful for the long term.
I would also like to make a push on publishing and get ahead. I barely got my 6 articles posted in August on time.
Batching my content is the way I get ahead.

Feelings
I did not do much on this blog. I don’t regret launching it, but I also see where I could have waited. I also launched a third blog and am not finding time to work on it. This blog along with my original blog is all I can handle for now.

I am proud of myself for launching this blog and hopeful for where it will go.
I think blogging about blogging can be very successful. Once people learn about income reports it is easy to get pageviews. They are so interesting!
I am overwhelmed, but optimistic.
Conclusion
I need to devote a day to this blog and get ahead on content creation. I am optimistic about this blog being successful especially since I have learned so much with my first blog.
I am learning that you just have to keep chugging along.
