Goals
June started off slow, but halfway through really picked up.
One goal I started working on is taking my own pictures. I have already started creating pins with my personal photos. I have not published any yet, but am curious to see how they perform.
I am set to launch 2 new blogs in July. These blogs will be side projects. I will not create Pinterest accounts or pins for them yet. I will simply create the website and post articles on it. The purpose is to age the domain and get the articles indexed by google. In the future, I will work on getting them traffic via Pinterest.
This is a very different approach from how I started my first blog and want to see how it goes for me.
A goal I set back in May was to hit 1000 users in June, which was accomplished.
In May I started working on applying to be a Target affiliate and really dropped the ball on this. A task for July is to get back to pursuing Target’s Affiliate Program.
Pinterest started off low in the month. My best day was June 24th where I had 3.63 K impressions.
Throughout the month my Impressions started to get back to where they previously were.
I worked on creating fresh pin descriptions. I was previously recycling them. These fresh descriptions started being used around the 17th of June.
Going to continue with the fresh descriptions.
In July I will likely be creating a few new boards. I hate to do multiple things at once because I like to see what is making the difference in impressions.

Google Analytics
My best day of the month was June 24th with 30 users. This was my best month as far as total users. From June 16th to the end of the month my daily users each day was 10 or higher.
Feelings
June started slow. I was feeling a little down about progress from May. Now I do want to clarify that when I am down I do not stop working. I keep publishing on schedule and keep publishing pins on my usual schedule. I can do this because I have a stockpile created ahead of time. This has been the key to my consistency.
In the second half of June my views started picking up and this helped me gain motivation. I started writing more content and extending my stockpile.
I am not saying I rely on motivation to get stuff done. I stay consistent regardless of how I am feeling. When I am feeling motivated though I take advantage of it and push myself to get ahead for when I am in a slump.

Changes
I am constantly trying to find my routine. My schedule though is very flexible and always changing. One of my goals in finding a routine is to better work on batch production. For example, Monday is Pinterest day. Thursday is a content writing day. Things like this, but I have not figured out what works for me.
Something I will not be changing is my publishing schedule. I publish 9 pins daily and post articles on the 5th, 10th, 15th, 20th, 25th, and 30th. This is great. I am consistently achieving this.
During the middle of month of June I started publishing pins with unique descriptions. By this I mean I publish a new pin image for an article and type up a fresh description then post this pin to four boards.
The next time I will create a new pin image and a new description for that article.
Conclusion
Overall I am happy I have made it to six months of blogging. Seeing my numbers grow is great. I do struggle thought at times with how slow the growth is. I am not making the money I would like to be making.
The amount of time I have invested without making hardly any money is crazy. If I were not not enjoying the blogging experience I don’t know if my motivation would have lasted me this long. You have to enjoy the journey or you will quit.
I hope to look back at this income report in another six month or even a year from now and hope to be so happy with where I am and the ability to see the progress I have made.
