Goals
The goals I set to accomplish during September or October were to:
-Set up a Canva account
-Start to create pins
-Set up a Pinterest account
-Work on Pinterest board creations and optimization
Unfortunately, I did not accomplish any of these goals yet. One of my focuses for October is establishing Pinterest and everything that comes with it. I have started taking pictures to use as backgrounds for my pins so that is a start.
A goal I had for September was to get ahead on publishing content for this website. It was successful. Once I get my income reports published for September I am done with content for the whole month. This means until the last week of October I don’t need to worry about content and can focus on Pinterest and getting started with that.
Another thing I accomplished in September, right at the end, was applying to be an affiliate for Bluehost. I haven’t posted the link on any content yet, but plan to do so the first week of October. This is something that hopefully will make me some income on this blog.
So once again I had no way to earn any money during September. There were no ads or affiliate links on my site. Once I get my Bluehost links placed in my old content I will have earnings potential with this blog.
Strategy/Changes
Thus far I have done nothing with Blogging with Amanda other than creating content. It is time to add Pinterest to the mix. I am ready to start promoting!
Some may ask, why haven’t you been on Pinterest from day 1? The reason is that this is my second website.
My first website requires content and Pinterest maintenance. I did not want to take on too much too quickly. It also did not seem worth the effort to start dealing with Pinterest when I only had 5 or so articles to promote.
Sometimes you have to know your limits.

Feelings
I am loving my second site. Talking about my blogging journey is easy and natural. All I have to do is track the steps I am taking and share them along the way! I want people to see what it can look like in real-time.
I don’t have too many feelings about the success of this website yet because it is too young to rank organically and I have not started promoting it via Pinterest. My numbers are from people randomly stumbling upon my website.
I am hopeful though. I hope I can be successful when I start my Pinterest account. Ideally, my income reports drive traffic. Income reports are so interesting to read!
The goal of the income reports is the bring people to my website and then give them value so they stick around for other content.

Conclusion
I am been trying to hold myself back from getting overwhelmed, but I am ready to start promoting this blog on Pinterest. It will be a lot to handle with multiple blogs, but this is what I am here for.
I want people to see my content.
I want to help people find out if blogging is right for them and be successful.
I want to move the needle forward and make this my career.
