Published Posts, Users & Pageviews
Google analytics switched over. I hate the new set up. I always liked the old better. I found it much more user friendly and simple to view.
Basically I do not know if I am properly set up with the new analytics program and don’t completely trust my numbers. It is also hard for me to know if it is accurate with Pinterest back and forth liking and hating me. I don’t even know what normal page views are for me anymore.
For the life of me I cannot find my page views which is a stat I personally like to see. The numbers below are ones I grabbed from my analytics.

Update I was able to find the old data. It will probably shut down soon. The thing is these numbers are not matching up, which is quite bothersome. I would like to have accurate information.

Pinterest Impressions
Pinterest is on the rise, and I have no idea why. Pinterest lately is volatile with my account. I do not know what the problem is. I do not publish the same URL within a month period. Often, I go two months between publishing a specific URL. I am not doing any spam practices that I know of. I post to my boards, write pin descriptions, and create my own pins in Canva. I use photos either I have taken, or they primary come from Unsplash which is free to use.
If you can see in the image my numbers for Pinterest are huge green percentages up. Basically, my account was at nothing last month, so even though these numbers are low the growth is huge.
Pinterest is unreliable for me.
I publish a new pin every single day. That is as much time as I am willing to give to the platform.
Email Subscribers
I did not get any new email subscribers this month.
I would really like to dedicate some time to revamping some of my freebies and actively work on linking them in some of my content.
For example, I would like to link them in the description of my YouTube videos. But first I would like to improve them a bit. I haven’t looked at them in a while.
Income
I earned $1.86 from Amazon this month. I would like to note that not all those clicks are accurate. I believe July 3rd I got 159 clicks because I was checking on my links and converting some long links into short links.
Expenses
I did not purchase anything in July.
Goals
At this point I don’t have any one particular goal. I want to get more traffic and more income.
I want to feel like I am getting somewhere and doing something right.
Strategy/Changes
I am working hard at so many things. I think I need to find a way to get more focused. I am batching a lot of things. I don’t necessarily know if I am doing them well or right and if they are worth my time. For example, I batch a few months’ worth of Tweets and schedule them on Twitter. I am making zero progress on Twitter though. I don’t really know what I am doing there. Should I learn more and focus on a platform, or should I drop it completely. Or do I try to juggle everything because you never know when something is going to take off?
Feelings
I am feeling very defeated. If I would have put all my hours of work into a guaranteed income, I could have made decent money at this point. Am I just wasting my time?
I am trying to do a lot of things. I am on a bunch of platforms. I batch content for all of them.
I started doing YouTube and making videos because that has money making potential.
However, I am not even close to getting monetized. My videos and not holding or gaining an audience.
In July I got 45.7 watch hours.
To get monetized you need 4,000 watch hours in 12 months.
That means you need over 300 watch hors in a month. 45 is not going to cut it!
So is YouTube another task I have added that is going to get me knowhere??? Do I just keep adding more work and more tasks without mastering any? Is that my problem?
Conclusion
In July I made $1.86. I am constantly working on my blog, YouTube channel, and all the other social medias to promote it.
I honestly should probably give up.
But I really don’t want to. I want to continue sharing my information and knowledge. That is why I keep going. I hate making pin images. I don’t enjoy that, but I do it to get the articles out to readers.
That is also why I really enjoy linking my articles on reddit where I basically can feed people the help they are looking for.
I don’t know what to do at this point. Do I keep pushing? Do I slow down and perfect a certain area? I probably would do that if I knew how.
