I got my 4 posts out on time for April. I am a bit behind on income and traffic reports so a lot will be coming out in May and June.
I am doing well at keeping up on publishing content on time.
Users & Pageviews
For April, most of my numbers were similar to February numbers. March was a high month. Pageviews were definitely down for April. What I find interesting is that Pinterest numbers were way up. We will see if this correlates to better numbers in May.
Pinterest Impressions
This was by far my best month for Pinterest with this blog. All of my numbers were way higher than usual.
In fact, all of my numbers more than doubled from last month. This includes my impressions, engagements, total audience, and engaged audience.
The first image is only showing the month of April. The second image shows from January 1 to April 30. Here you can really see the progress my Pinterest account made.
Finally seeing growth and progress is so exciting!
Email Subscribers
I got my first email subscriber this month!!!

I am very excited about this. I have yet to follow up with another email at this time. They subscribed by signing up for my freebie for How to Kick Off Your Blog in 5 Weeks.
Income
My only income source is affiliate income using my Bluehost link. Unfortunately, I did not get any sign-ups and therefore made no money this month once again.
Expenses
No expenses this month.
Goals
My goals for April were just keeping up and getting content out there.
Goals for May include:

Publish July content
Publish August content
The exception with every month is the income reports. I cannot get ahead on those, but on other posts, I can and intend to do so.
I’ve got a baby due in June and want to have as little as possible to work on when we are recovering and adjusting to life.
Strategy/Changes
I want to keep trying what I have been doing with Pinterest. A single pin goes to a single board and then is retired. I want to see if it can continue to grow my Pinterest account and ideally see that reflect in my Google Analytics.
I am truly hoping to see progress and growth in all my numbers. This blog has been slow growing and I am ready for it to pick up speed.

I enjoy working on this blog, but with the slow growth seem to have a difficult time getting excited about it. I will continue chugging along though.
Conclusion
Sometimes some numbers go up, while others go down. You just have to keep working to find what moves the needle. Stay tuned for my next income report coming soon.
